University of Split (Croatia)
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the central higher education institution in the areas of social, humanist and interdisciplinary sciences of the University of Split, the City of Split. The Faculty Humanities and Social Sciences has 159 employees of which 125 hold teaching positions at all levels, while 34 employees hold administrative and technical service jobs. With more than 2000 undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students, the Faculty is of Humanities and Social Sciences one of the bigger constituent units of the University of Split. The University serves as a coordinator of this project, in close collaboration with CARDET and all partners.
CARDET (Cyprus)
CARDET is the leading centre for training and development in Cyprus, with partners around the world. The centre’s mission is to inspire next generation education, and promote research, innovation and development through evidence-based practices, cutting-edge research, and empowered people. CARDET brings together an international team of passionate professionals with global expertise in literacies, reading promotion, vocational and adult training, e-learning, and evaluation. CARDET has been advising organisations and Ministries in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Members of the CARDET team have successfully participated in more than 100 projects in over 30 countries, several of which were supported by the European Commission, the United Nations, Microsoft, and governments and agencies from around the world. The Management Team is supported by 10 members of the board/advisory board who are all international veterans in education, research, and evaluation. CARDET currently employs 30 full and part-time staff. The majority of team members hold graduate degrees (Masters and/or PhD) in areas like literacies, education, research, multimedia development, inclusive education and evaluation. CARDET follows a systemic and systematic process in thoroughly planning and executing projects and is ISO 9001 Certified for Quality in Management, Research and Education.
ENTER (Austria)
The European Network for Transfer and Exploitation of EU Project Results (E.N.T.E.R.) is a non-profit association officially registered in Austria. E.N.T.E.R. was founded to serve four main purposes: (1) To support European Union strategies through the dissemination and exploitation of project results funded by European programmes for the benefit of all European citizens. (2) To offer EU project coordinators the opportunity to disseminate information about their projects and their results to a broad community of interested organisations and bodies. (3) To give European citizens and organisations the opportunity to receive information regularly about developments and results in the EU project community. (4) To give interested organisations the opportunity to find EU project groups and consortia for exchanging knowledge and developing innovative project ideas. In order to fulfil these purposes, E.N.T.E.R. connects a constantly growing number of members from all over Europe by virtual means. Hence, the entire European community is represented in its diversity in terms of nationalities, economic sectors and types of organisations.
IPCB (Portugal)
The Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute is a public higher education institution. It covers several scientific areas from education, to music and design courses, as well as engineering, nursing, tourism, management. The Higher School of Education, which is the one to be directly involved in the project offers graduate and post-graduate courses in education (French, English, and Spanish as foreign languages, literature, primary education, nursery education, special needs, physical education) as well as in social education and social services. Its main areas of expertise include the teaching and learning of foreign languages and literature, as well as of mother tongue and foreign language literatures, including specializations in children’s literature and culture.
University of LODZ (Poland)
University of Lodz is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Poland. It was established in 1945 as a successor of educational institutions active in Lodz in earlier times. The 13 faculties of the University provide programmes in 75 fields of study and 196 specializations. In addition, the University offers doctoral programmes, more than 100 postgraduate curricula including an MBA programme, and programmes financed by the ESF. The 40,000 students that attend classes at different faculties of the University are taught by 2,280 academic teachers, 579 of whom bear the highest academic rank. The University treats international cooperation as a way to foster its development and continue the city’s tradition. The University is repeatedly ranked among the top higher education institutions in Poland, and it especially excels in such fields of study as management, law, and economics. UL is one of only four Polish Universities which gained a place in the QS World University Rankings. International relations of the University are visible in various areas. Currently, within direct cooperation agreements, the school cooperates with 190 partner institutions from all over the world. Within the Erasmus Programme, the University has so far signed 600 agreements with 300 partner institutions. These institutions give our students, whether local or foreign, the possibility of spending a semester, or a year, abroad, and, in return, we welcome many guests from abroad spending a period of their studies in Lodz.

University of Piteşti (Romania)
University of Piteşti (UPIT) is an educational and research institution aimed at training specialists in the fields of traditional university education, technical education, economics, juridical and administrative sciences, theology, physical education and sports. Its mission also refers to approaching scientific research addressing issues of national and international interest. UPIT has been founded in 1962 and it is a state university, located in Piteşti (southern part of Romania. UPIT is a medium size university at the level or Romania, having over 12.000 students and approximately 800 teaching and administrative staff. The University of Piteşti gathers under its co-ordination and management 11 faculties offering Bachelor, Master and Doctor Diplomas. The academic staff is composed by a body of experts and professionals with accredited and recognised results (see www.upit.ro). In the last 10 years UPIT was involved in over 100 EU financed projects, many of them under its coordination. UPIT is a full member of the European Universities Association (EUA), Danube Rectors’ Conference (DRC), Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), working for direct implementation of Bologna and ECTS and being thus connected to realities of the European higher education and research.
Doukas School (Greece)
Since its founding in 1917, Doukas School has always tried to keep up with the latest trends in education. In its 2,5 acres, setting with educational and athletic facilities amongst the best in design and construction, Doukas School, a K-12 educational Institution, offers to its 1600 student body one of the finest educational and athletic programs in the country. Doukas School has received many awards for the innovative practices it is implementing in the teaching process, in particular on the integration of ICT pedagogies, methods and tools in the educational process. The School participates in several EU and National R&D projects and coordinates extensive European Networks under programmes such us Lifelong Learning Programme, Intelligent Energy Europe, EPEAEK, PAVE, LINGUA. The 1st “Classroom of the Future” in Greece was created in 2007, where all students from Grade 4 use a portable “e-schoolbag” (Tablet PC), containing all educational material and are connected wirelessly to the “e”- blackboard of their classroom and the Internet. Doukas School, is the first educational establishment in Greece that has been awarded in 2012 the award “Recognised for Excellence” 4 stars, of the European Foundation for Quality Management (E.F.Q.M.).
